The race is being brought to you by Garrett State Bank and will start and end at J.E. Ober Elementary School.

**Race Details:**

– **Start/Finish:** Both races will start and finish at J.E. Ober Elementary School.

– **Registration & Packet Pickup:**

  – Online registration will remain open up until the start of the race.

  – Pick up your packets in advance @ GSB Main Office, 120 W King St., July 2nd from 9 AM – 5 PM and July 3rd from 9 AM – 5 PM.

  – Race Day registration and packet pickup will take place at J.E. Ober from 7:00 AM right up until the start of the races at 8:30 AM.

**Registration Fees:**

– **5K Run & 2mi Walk:**

  – $10 Early Bird Registration (includes T-shirt) through June 14th

  – $20 Late Registration (no T-shirt) from June 15th through race day

**Post-Race Celebration:**

– All runners are invited to a post-race celebration near the start/finish line. Refreshments will be provided, and the awards ceremony is sponsored by Garrett State Bank! Stick around for the festival activities throughout the day.

**Age Groups & Awards:**

– 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category receive special awards.

– Age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70

Join hundreds of regional car owners and fans for this family-friendly event at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum on Saturday, July 6th from 9:00am – 11:00am. Bring your favorite car and enjoy wonderful, Hoosier-brewed coffee and local donuts. Cars & Coffee is free and open to all vehicles including: classic, exotic, muscle, and favorite car.Cars & Coffee provides auto enthusiasts of all levels an opportunity to show off their cars and talk to other owners on the beautiful campus of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. We would love to capture and preserve your memories of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum! As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we invite you to share your experiences of the museum over the past five decades, as well as your recent visits.

To facilitate this, Eckhart Public Library staff will be available at the museum to conduct audio-only informal conversations. These conversations should be no longer than 10-15 minutes each. The recordings will be archived both in the Eckhart Public Library collection and the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum archives.

**Visit Sechler’s Pickle Factory During the St. Joe Pickle Festival!**

Take a free tour of our factory during the St. Joe Pickle Festival, running from July 18th-20th, 2024. Tours are available:

– Monday-Friday: 9 am – 11 am, 12:30 pm – 3 pm

– Saturday: 9 am – Noon

**Tour Highlights:**

Learn about the early history of pickle-making in St. Joe and visit the original home of Ralph and Anne Sechler, founders of “St. Joe Valley Pickles.” Outdoors, see our pickle storage vats and witness fresh cucumbers being processed. Inside, observe how pickles are washed, cut, cooked, sweetened, packed, and labeled, while learning about our company’s history and techniques. Afterward, visit our Showroom to shop our products and explore the Pickle Museum.

– **Clothing Requirements:** Closed-toed shoes and sleeves are required. No sandals, Crocs, or tank tops allowed.

Celebrate the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum’s 50th anniversary with a free concert by the Auburn Community Band on July 25, 2024, at 7pm, in partnership with the Eckhart Public Library.

Enjoy a selection of songs from the 1920s and 1930s performed by the Auburn Community Band, set against the backdrop of the museum’s stunning Art Deco National Historic Landmark building. Explore displays featuring Auburns, Cords, and Duesenbergs from the classic era.

This family-friendly event is free and open to all. The concert will take place indoors, rain or shine. Doors open at 6pm. A cash bar will be provided by the museum, and the Friends of the Eckhart Public Library will offer cookies and lemonade.

The Auburn Community Band, established on May 20, 1982, is dedicated to continuously improving its musical performances. Based in Auburn, the band attracts members from across northeast Indiana.

McMahon’s Best-One is hosting a Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, July 27th for our community, friends and their families in Auburn.
