Central Spring Nationals

The AACA returns to DeKalb County in 2025 with the Central Spring Nationals, July 2–5.

The event showcases an impressive array of antique automobiles, offering a glimpse into automotive history. Held in the “Classic Car Capital of the World,” it’s a perfect opportunity to admire meticulously restored vehicles, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and celebrate the rich heritage of classic cars.

THURSDAY – THINGS TO DO
Explore a variety of local attractions, including automobile museums, downtown shopping, breweries, wineries, and local dining spots.

Enjoy a historical bus tour showcasing prominent homes and key sites from Auburn’s Golden Age of Transportation. Two tours are available Thursday afternoon at 1pm and 3pm. Tours depart from the show field at DeKalb High School and cost $10 per person.

Wrap up the day with the Garrett Heritage Days Parade at 6pm, featuring antique cars, horses, and marching bands.


FRIDAY
Historical bus tours continue at 9am and 11am ($10 per person).

Enter your car in the Garrett Heritage Days Car Show, running from 8am–2pm, and browse local vendors.

At 5pm, join the Cruise-In around the DeKalb County Courthouse Square and enjoy extended hours at local shops during the Auburn First Fridays event.

Cap off the night with fireworks at dusk in nearby Garrett, located at the Garrett Youth Soccer Fields on E. Warfield St., near Garrett High School.


SATURDAY
The show opens to the public at 10am at DeKalb High School.

Celebrate the antique car hobby with a day full of vintage vehicles, meet-and-greets with car enthusiasts, and an appreciation for the beauty and history of classic automobiles.
