Strawberries Around the Fountain

Strawberries Around the Fountain returns to the Library Park on Thursday, June 19th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. This annual event is hosted by the Friends of Eckhart Public Library and is their major fundraiser of the year.

The Friends will be selling homemade strawberry shortcake, strawberry sundaes, and strawberry shakes for $10 each to fund the programming of Eckhart Public Library. There will be a limited supply of dairy free and gluten free offerings as well. 100% of the profits will be given to the Library to fund a wide range of exciting and meaningful programs and literacy initiatives.

This event is free for the whole family to attend and will feature horse-drawn wagon rides, face-painting, a bounce house, musical entertainment, free hot dogs, The Y on the Fly, and more!

Strawberries Around the Fountain will feature the local musical talents of Me & Dad: Featuring Jimi and Randy Kimball and Main Street Porch Band.

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the gymnasium at McKenney-Harrison Elementary School. If bad weather occurs, the decision to move the event indoors will be made by midday on the day of the event.
