Thousands of spectators flock to Auburn to admire vintage automobiles from all eras and classic car styles. Every Labor Day weekend, Auburn, Indiana, comes alive with the roar of engines and the glitz of vintage automobiles. It's time for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival, a celebration of automotive history, elegance, and innovation. From August 29th to August 31st, 2024, car enthusiasts from around the world will gather in charming Auburn, Indiana to experience a weekend filled with nostalgia, excitement, and automotive brilliance. The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival stands as a testament to the illustrious legacy of three iconic brands in the American automobile industry: Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg. Additionally, the community takes pleasure in exploring the four automotive museums located in DeKalb County. The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum is a treasure trove of automotive history housed within the historic Art Deco building that once served as the headquarters and showroom for the Auburn Automobile Company. The museum hosts special exhibitions, guided tours, and educational programs throughout the weekend, offering visitors a glimpse into the the golden age of American motoring. Attendees can marvel at the meticulous ACD classics lining the streets during the renowned Parade of Classics, participate in the 800-car cruise-in or hear the roar of the exotics. The ACD Festival also features electrifying events such as live music, delicious food, and family-friendly activities. Vendors at the Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum line the Worldwide Auction grounds outside with their annual swap meet while Worldwide Auctions runs the tradition of the boutique Auburn Auction that has been happening in Auburn since 1971! While the cars are unquestionably the stars of the show, there are activities for the whole family that take in the rich history of Auburn while infusing the town with food, music, and fun!
