Community Foundation DeKalb County, established in 1996, promotes community philanthropy by offering local citizens the opportunity to create charitable legacies that will sustain and improve life in DeKalb County. The Foundation funds are distributed to the community through grants to local nonprofits, scholarships to local students, and support for community initiatives.
