Downtown Auburn Business Assoc.

Nonprofit
Description

The Downtown Auburn Business Association (DABA) has served the vibrant heart of Auburn, Indiana since the 1940s. Originally formed as a platform for local business owners to collaborate, DABA remains committed to enhancing the downtown experience.

Comprising 97 retail and service businesses, DABA’s mission is clear: to nurture a thriving downtown through community engagement, promotional initiatives, and philanthropic activities.

Partnering with Auburn Main Street, DABA orchestrates a diverse array of community events and activities throughout the year. From the enchanting Winterfest in February to the lively Downtown Farmers Market and festive Christmas Parade, there’s always something happening in downtown Auburn.

Art enthusiasts rejoice as DABA regularly hosts captivating outdoor art exhibits, showcasing the talent of local and regional artists. These exhibits, spanning from June to September, infuse the streets with creativity and inspiration.

Beyond downtown events, DABA proudly supports initiatives like the DeKalb County Fair, United Way of DeKalb County, and Catholic Charities Coat and Glove Drive.

Interested in joining DABA? Independent business owners with a presence in downtown Auburn are invited to connect with us and become a part of our dynamic community.
