Jackie Henderson has always taken joy in making people feel welcome. Her daily goal is simple: treat every guest like a friend by feeding them like family. She does that with hearty sandwiches, comforting soups, and irresistible desserts—all made fresh in her own kitchen.

Jackie’s love for cooking runs deep. At just 10 years old she chose making dinner over weeding the family garden—and she’s been perfecting that choice ever since. In 2011, she launched Hoosier Mama Catering, where she built a reputation for using only the highest-quality ingredients to create everything from down-home picnic fare to beautifully crafted upscale meals. Her wedding cakes, cheesecakes, and other baked creations quickly became local favorites.

Today, that same passion and precision shine in every item at The Deli at Sixth & Main. Whether it’s a smoked turkey and brie sandwich or a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip cookie, each bite is made with the care of a seasoned chef and the warmth of someone who truly loves good food.
