The Heinzerling Family Five Points Nature Preserve, now protected forever, has vibrant wetlands, agriculture acreage, an oxbow stream, and a small forested wetland system. This ACRES land preserve has a considerable local history where an interurban rail line and the Five Points School once existed on the property. Carl Heinzerling's, who purchased the property in the 1920s, grandchildren protected this land. Mr. Heinzerling was also a co-founder of the famed Creek Chub Bait Co.
