Pickleball Clinics at the YMCA of DeKalb County: Your Opportunity to Improve Your Game

Are you ready to take your pickleball skills to the next level? Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an intermediate/advanced player eager to sharpen your strategy, the YMCA of DeKalb County has something for you! In collaboration with Scorpion Pickleball, they’re offering a series of exciting pickleball clinics that you won’t want to miss.

Clinic Dates:

  • January 30th
  • February 6th
  • February 13th
  • February 25th

These clinics will take place at the YMCA’s indoor courts in Auburn, Indiana, offering a comfortable environment to practice your game no matter the weather outside.


Beginner Pickleball Clinic

If you’re new to pickleball or just starting to get the hang of it, the Beginner Clinic is the perfect opportunity for you. Running from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, this clinic focuses on teaching essential skills and helping you develop the foundation for a successful pickleball game.

What to Expect:

  • Skill Drills: Pinpoint specific skills and practice them through fun, targeted drills.
  • Personalized Attention: Get tips and feedback to help you improve your game.
  • Beginner-Friendly: Whether you’re learning the basic rules or how to serve, this clinic has you covered.

Cost: $70 for the full 4-week session.
What to Bring: Just your paddle, and the YMCA provides the rest!


Intermediate/Advanced Pickleball Clinic

For those who are already familiar with the game and want to take their pickleball IQ to the next level, the Intermediate/Advanced Clinic is where you’ll find the challenge you need. Scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this clinic goes beyond the basics and dives into the more strategic elements of the game.

What to Expect:

  • Strategy Sessions: Learn how to read the game, anticipate shots, and improve your court positioning.
  • Advanced Drills: Work on refining your technique and expand your skill set.
  • Elevate Your Game: If you want to become a smarter player, this clinic will help you think and play at a higher level.

Cost: $70 for the full 4-week session.
What to Bring: Again, bring your own paddle and be ready to elevate your game.
