Visit DeKalb County is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Jernigan as its new Executive Director.
A lifelong resident of DeKalb County, Ryan was born and raised in Auburn, Indiana, and brings a deep personal connection to the community he now serves. He is a graduate of Indiana University and has more than 20 years of professional experience in the auction and real estate industry, where he developed extensive expertise in business operations, client relations, marketing, and strategic growth.
Ryan’s background is uniquely aligned with DeKalb County’s identity. Having been immersed in the county’s rich automotive and car culture from an early age, he has a strong appreciation for the history, heritage, and attractions that make DeKalb County a distinctive destination for visitors and residents alike.
As Executive Director, Ryan looks forward to promoting DeKalb County’s tourism assets, strengthening community partnerships, and advancing Visit DeKalb County’s mission to support economic development through travel and tourism.
