
Visit DeKalb is excited to showcase DeKalb County’s rich automotive heritage during the 2026 Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, July 24–26.
Throughout race weekend, Visit DeKalb will welcome fans to learn about the attractions, museums, and experiences that make DeKalb County a premier destination for automotive enthusiasts. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see a remarkable piece of racing history up close.
Featured at the Visit DeKalb display will be the Dodge Charger recreation of the legendary car driven by NASCAR Hall of Famer David Pearson to 15 victories during the 1966 season. The vehicle is currently on display as part of Built to Win: Pearson & Owens Racing Heritage at the National Auto & Truck Museum (NATMUS) in Auburn, Indiana.
