All students may attend Spring Break at the Museum for FREE.

Come down to the museum during DeKalb County Schools Spring Break Week! Every day at 11am we will have activities for families and kids. All students may attend Spring Break at the Museum for FREE.

Monday: Enjoy a sensory station under the airplane and complete our photo search.

Tuesday: Create balloon bottle cars and Lego cars for little ones.

Wednesday: Craft fun Art Deco headbands and listen to a reading of “Around American to Win the Vote: Two Suffragists, A Kitten and 10,000 Miles”

Thursday: Team up with tools for a hands-on assembly line experience.

Friday: Join the animal scavenger hunt and grab a Hot Wheels car as a prize.

Auburn Parks and Recreation Department will provide lunch vouchers one day this week. Check their website for more information/registration.

Singo is a new and exciting musical spin on the traditional game of Bingo. Instead of listening for a number, players are listening to their favorite music.
Each player receives a free Singo card printed with the titles of popular songs. While Singo randomly plays song clips of “the good parts”, players can sing along and mark matching song titles on their cards.
Singo will be held inside the winery.

Prizes will be awarded to the winner!

Dress in theme and you could be chosen for an additional $25 gift card!

Hello Friends! Family Storytime is an interactive literacy-based experience for all families. It is an opportunity to gather and share time together.

We have programs under the big balloon painting in the Children’s Department on Tuesdays at 6:15 pm and on Wednesdays at 10:45 am. We will read a story based on a theme, and have songs and activities designed to encourage mental development and socio-emotional learning. It is a great opportunity for children to interact with their peers!

Teen D&D takes place on the second and last Friday of the month, from 4:30 – 6:50 pm, on the lower level of The Teen Library.

Embark with us on an epic journey set in the mystical world of Exandria.This is an ongoing campaign, but any session would be a suitable point for a new player to join. No experience is necessary, and pre-generated characters and dice are available.The more the merrier!

This D&D campaign is open to teens in middle and high school and provides a welcoming space for creativity, teamwork, and strategic thinking. We use Discord for group chats and announcements.

“Moving Forward Together” A celebration of Women’s History Month. We are thrilled to host two amazing women artists from Columbus, OH for a very special open studio weekend. Celebrate Women’s History month with these talented artists!
– Jillian Renee Siefert paints mini masterpieces, creating her own tiny frames starting at 1″ up to 4″. She uses gouache and watercolor.
– Hannah Maltry is a watercolor artist. She is painting every bird in North America with a mid century style vibe. She will have originals and limited prints.
Both artists will be demonstrating throughout the weekend.
